The Transport Ireland Conference takes place on Thursday 4 June at Croke Park, Dublin. This is an EOLAS conference delivered in partnership with Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII), focusing on Accelerating investment to transform Ireland’s transport future.
The programme will bring together ministerial, domestic and international speakers, with opening remarks from TII Chief Executive Officer Lorcan O’Connor. Contributions from other TII speakers will address the following topics:
Light Rail in Ireland – expanding the network
Gender mainstreaming for inclusive transport design – a TII case study
Panel discussion: Smart, shared and innovative – the future of transport in Ireland
The conference will provide a useful forum for discussion on infrastructure delivery, future mobility, inclusion and accessibility, and policy considerations, particularly in the context of Ireland’s forthcoming EU Presidency.
