ACEI CONGRATULATES MEMBER FIRMS O'CONNOR SUTTON CRONIN AND MALACHY WALSH & PARTNERS FOR WINNING TWO CATEGORIES IN THE IRISH CONCRETE SOCIETY'S 36TH ANNUAL AWARDS

Excellence in the  design and  construction  in  concrete was clearly evident  again at this year’s Irish Concrete Society’s Awards Evening, which  took  place on  the 24^th of March in  the  Clayton Hotel, Dublin. This  was  the prestigious 36^th Annual Awards  Evening  and  the  event  is always  one  of  the highlights   in the   construction   industry’s  calendar with some   340 of  industry’s  finest in attendance. 

The Awards  recognise  excellence  in  both  design  and  construction of concrete and are adjudicated by a distinguished, independent jury of industry professionals.

Infrastructure Category Winner: Páirc Uí Chaoimh Stadium

Building Category Winner: Royal College of Surgeons,

Winner of the 6^th International Award Banagher Precast Concrete for “The Royal Mint, London”

Concrete Sculpture Award Winning Piece: Shards of Memory by Yvonne Casburn

Séan de Courcy Student Award Winner: Steven Conroy, National University of Ireland
