Event Details

The implementation of structured information management is central to Ireland’s digital transition in the built environment. This webinar will explore how the Build Digital project, funded by the Department of Public Expenditure, NDP Delivery and Reform, is enabling this transformation through its three interconnected hubs — Digi Adopt, Digi Implement, and Digi Innovate.

Focusing on the implementation of information management, this session will demonstrate how organisations can translate Irish BIM Mandate into practice. The discussion will align with the Irish BIM Mandate, the ISO 19650 series, and the Capital Works Management Framework (CWMF), outlining how these frameworks support consistent, transparent, and data-driven project delivery.

Participants will gain insight into how Digi Implement bridges the gap between planning and doing — supporting public and private sector organisations in applying standards such as IFC, Uniclass, and ICMS. The webinar will highlight how Build Digital’s templates, structured workflows, and guidance documents provide a clear, scalable pathway to embed best-practice information management at project level.

Attendees will see how Build Digital’s approach supports improved collaboration, reduced duplication, and stronger alignment between clients, consultants, and contractors.

Who should attend:

  • Public sector clients
  • Consultants
  • Contractors
  • Digital project managers
  • Industry professionals seeking to enhance compliance and efficiency

Key themes:

  • How Build Digital’s hubs enable the implementation of information management
  • Embedding ISO 19650, IFC, Uniclass, and ICMS across public works
  • From strategy to practice: applying Build Digital templates and workflows

About the Speaker: Robert Moore

Before joining Build Digital, Robert was Information Manager with the Grangegorman Development Agency, where he developed digital processes and worked closely with consultants and contractors to embed information management on major public projects.

He has contributed internationally, co-authoring CEN/TR 17654:2021 (guidance on Exchange Information Requirements and BIM Execution Plans), and serves on several industry bodies, including the National BIM Mirror Committee, Lean Construction Ireland Leadership Group, and the BIM Innovation Capability Programme Client Working Group.
