The Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, Michael McGrath TD has announced details of interim measures to address the impact of Construction Material Price Inflation on Public Works Projects.

Steel and timber products in particular have seen substantial, sustained increases since the middle of last year, and they have been joined in this regard by materials such as insulation and plastics since early in 2021.  Full detail of these measures are here.
