Event Details

Engineers Ireland Energy, Environment and Climate Action Division’s Annual CPD Seminar Climate Action Plan and 2030 Targets – How the Engineering Sector can play a Key Role in Meeting our Binding Targets takes place on Thursday, 16 April at Engineers Ireland, 22 Clyde Road in Dublin 4.

This seminar brings together leading experts, policymakers, and engineers to identify how the engineering sector can help accelerate the measures needed to meet Ireland’s 2030 climate targets. The day will examine environmental priorities, technological innovation, and specific actions needed to address the binding 2030 targets outlined in the government’s climate strategy. A key message will be the urgent need for rapid, broad-based actions across all economic sectors to address both energy decarbonisation and environmental protection.

This is a call for the engineering community to be at the forefront of implementation, innovation, and infrastructure transformation.
